Mysuru Warriors & Kalisu Foundation spreads the joy of learning


Donates a library to Sharadavilas Government Higher Primary School

Mysuru, July 13, 2016: Reinforcing its commitment towards the holistic development of the society, Mysuru Warriors in association with Kalisu Foundation donated a library to the Sharadavilas Government Higher Primary School. Kalisu Foundation has partnered with Mysuru Warriors, This is the second library to have been donated to a government school by Mysuru Warriors, Mysuru’s very own KPL team owned by NR Group, the makers of Cycle Pure Agarbathies. The objective is to extend support towards providing high quality education to children studying in government schools.

Kalisu Foundation, the cause partners of Mysuru Warriors team played a pivotal role in conceptualizing the library. Mr. Vikram Muthanna Managing Editor, Star of Mysore handed over the library to the school authorities. Mr. R. Guru, Chairman, NR Group, Mr. Balachandar, Convenor, KSCA, Mysuru Zone, Mr. B. N. Shivaramegowda, BEO, South Zone, Mysuru, Mr. Ravish, Principal, Sharadavilas Government Higher Primary School, Mysuru graced the occasion as Guests of Honour.

Earlier this year Mysuru Warriors in association with Kalisu Foundation has established a library in Kuvempunagar Government School and till date about 1300 books have been issued. With the second library in Sharadavilas Government Higher Primary School Mysuru Warriors will be impacting the lives of 400 families through the children in the school.

Commenting on the initiative Mr. R. Guru, Chairman, NR Group said “We at Cycle Pure Agarbathies have always worked been involved in pro-social activities. In fact, a significant part of our gains have been spent on socially relevant causes. We are happy to be in a position where we can take initiatives for the betterment of the society.

We congratulate Mysuru Warriors and Kalisu Foundation for providing the students with this amenity”

Mysuru Warriors, during the KPL had extended its backing to the empowerment initiatives of Kalisu Foundation. Kalisu foundation is a volunteer driven organization that provides high quality education to children studying in government school coming from low-income background, enabling them to maximize their potential and transforming their lives.
